New Life Style Part II
Posted by admin - 07/10/08 at 07:10 amMany people I am proud to call friends have generously shared some of their experiences and observations of living with an external oxygen supply. This series of posts pick up some of their testimonies with the aim to help others.
Part II
You are now at home and becoming adjusted to receiving extra oxygen.
The most natural feelings you have are despair, anger and frustration. There are bound to be many “if only …” moments.
You are focusing on the oxygen machine all the time.
Do I have enough supply?
If it is an oxygen concentrator (that takes out oxygen from the air around), you ask yourself what happens if there is a power failure? What if the darn thing breaks down?
You will be surprised how in a short while you will stop worrying so much. Some people are always on edge, others are quite laid back. But all get used to it.
