You will find innovations in shape. Instead of the large tube type of tank, you can find them as thin cylinders – and this is great news as you can fit them into backpacks or holders in wheelchairs.
This also means more freedom of movement as you can carry them with less effort and even take a back up; which is always good news.
One of the major inconveniences of the older models, apart from the weight, was storing and maneuvering them. Today’s sizes and shapes make them easier, less cumbersome, to fit in a car, a bus or in social meetings, without disturbing and getting in the way of other people. This also means that there is less risk of someone getting tangled with the hose.
